Submit to our winter issue!

Well, I know now. I know a little more how much a simple thing like a snowfall can mean to a person.”
–Sylvia Plath

For our third annual winter issue, we’re seeking cozy fiction vignettes that reflect the nuance, pain, and beauty that comes when the snow starts to fall. Submissions should use winter as either a landscape or a character. We’ve chosen the photographer Guido Siporin as our featured photographer this issue and will only be selecting between 10-14 authors for publication.

This will be our final issue.

Included below are submission guidelines:

  • Submissions must not exceed 900 words and must be a minimum of 300 words.
  • Please follow MLA formatting.
  • Poetry will not be accepted.
  • Please send only one submission per cycle.
  • We do not accept flash fiction in the form of a sentence.
  • Edit and proofread your work prior to submission.
  • Please include a succinct third-person bio in your cover letter.

Accepted documents to send are either Microsoft .doc or .docx, Mac Pages and/or Text will not be tolerated.
